From the perspective of the craftsmen of Yuan Dynasty, this thesis discusses where the craftsmen serving in the Yuan ceramics official kilns came from and what their products were. It is suggested that there were three types of craftsmen who had participated in and influenced the technology and style of the official wares in Yuan Dynasty:craftsmen from the Cizhou and Jizhou kilns, literati painters, as well as Persian potters. It also holds that the Yuan Blue-and-white Porcelains were created for the diplomatic needs of the Yuan government as gifts to Islamic countries, and examined the production time of the representative Yuan Blue-and-white porcelains from collections of the Iran and Turkey museums. In addition, the author tries to distinguish the official Blue-and-white wares from those civil wares, and discuss the production periods and style transitions of Yuan Blue-and-white.
