The Research Of Pingshantang Chorography

Zhao Zhibi was the grandson of Zhao Liangdong,the Yonglve general of the Qing Dynasty,and the son of Zhao Hongxie,the Governor of Zhili.He once served as an important official in Ministry of Revenue and Lianghuai Salt Merchants.During the Yongzheng period,he was involved in a deficit case and was excused by the emperor.In the thirty-three years of Qianlong's reign,he was once again involved in the "citing salt quotation case of the Huainan-Huaibei area",and was eventually dismissed for oversight.In addition,when Zhao Zhibi served as the salt transporter in Yangzhou,he also published a book entitled Pingshantang Chorography.There is existing thirtieth year of Qianlong(1765),the ninth year of Guangxu(1883),Ouyang Lijian reprinted version,Guangxu twenty-first year(1895),Japan's fourteen-year(1843)official board version,totally four editions of the Pingshantang Chorography.The 10 volumes of Pingshantang Chorography and the first volume of the book were written in the title of the Shugang landscape and the temple and the garden pavilion around the Pingshantang.The book is divided into five: Chen Han,maps,attractions,art,knowledge.Its main contents include the order,the general case,the first volume and the main text volume one to volume ten,in which the order is Zhao Zhibi's introduction to the origin of the book;the reasons for the naming of this book and the general description and the origin of the different records included in the old records.The content of the Pingshantang Chorography is limited,easy to read,plus the conciseness of the text,so it is extremely valuable and should also be used for compiling the local chronicles.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,mainly from the origin of the topic,the review of academic history,the purpose and content of the research,and the research methods and significance to describe the research of the relevant issues of this topic.The second part is the first chapter.It mainly introduces Zhao Zhibi's family background and life,thus combing Zhao Zhibi's grandparents and grandchildren's conditions and bureaucratic experiences.The third part is the second chapter which mainly introduces the process,content andcharacteristics of the Pingshantang Chorography,so that we can have a further understanding of his book.The fourth part is the third chapter that mainly writes the version of Pingshantang Chorography.Through four versions of the book,the academic community is provided with a relatively complete Pingshantang Chorography,and enrich the further exploration of related fields.The fifth part elaborates on the cultural value of Pingshantang Chorography and its influence.
