Travel notes have a long tradition in the history of Chinese literature.The travel notes contain the efforts of the traveler to construct local memories.The writing of the travel notes is also an expression of the cognitive results of the traveler.In order to better corroborate and demonstrate the differences between the subjective perception and objective facts of the travelers in the travels,the author tried the following aspects as relevant research paths in order to explore the geographical images of Chongqing in the Republic of China.First of all,in the introduction,the reason for selecting the topic and the significance of research are considered.From the academic and realistic perspectives,it is believed that the geographical imagery of Chongqing in the Republic of China Travels is very promising.Then define the time range is the Republic of China,the scope of the space in Chongqing and take into account the surrounding areas,but also analyze the related cause and effect.The academic history mainly starts with the research status of travel notes,regional research situations in travel notes,and geographic images(images)in literary works,and then analyzes the depth of research on geographic images in travel journals.And discussed the main research content,methods,difficulties and so on.The first chapter is travel text and perceptual geography.Combines travel text and perceptual geography from both theoretical and practical aspects.Travels includes genres,subjects,objects,feelings and emotions.It is a combination of subject and object.The types of travel notes can be divided into three types: natural geography,human geography,and social geography according to their contents and forms.The use of travel documents mainly include: foreigners' travel notes,travel guides,newspapers and magazines,travel records in journals,and some are less involved in foreign travels,etc.They can all be called travel notes.The texts,images,maps,landscape postcards,advertisements,manuals,guides,etc.in the travel notes serve as the medium of communication and the documentary activities delivered.At the same time,the travel document texts have a series relationship with perceptual geography.Since ancient times,"imagery" has been extending the direction of research at home and abroad,and it is no exception in China.The derivative of geographical imagery facilitates the exploration of geographical images under travel texts.It is also the subject of geographic imagery in the Republic of China.Thus it can be seen that the hill town in a special period is a melting pot for immigrants.On the basis of the subjective initiative,the visitors have created a colorful local cultural landscape that has become a powerful postcard for the region.Finally,the traveler examines the immediate landscape from the perspective of the other person.This “talk about taste” is the result of the convergence of subjective perceptions and objective facts of the traveler.Through the analysis of the Chongqing natural geography and human geography images in the Republic of China Travels,we can discover the characteristics of Chongqing and the exploration of local cultural resources.Local growth depends on the formation of self-consciousness.This is also the reason and condition for the development of Chongqing in the Republic of China.background.The perceiver's perception does not follow a certain degree of disposition.Instead,it focuses on the specific landscape in front of him and generates unique image realms in the traveler's consciousness.Therefore,how to grasp this objectivity is a problem.Fortunately,travelers are in a certain objective environment.The traveler's footprint has become the window of Chongqing's internal and external influences.It should be understood in the travel notes that the traveler has explored and recognized it.
