| The identity and self-exploration of women were well developed since the eighty’s last century.The social status of women is improving with the continued spread of feminist thought,while there is a big progress in China’s feminist thought,but women are faced with going to consumption and commercialization.In the past ten years of the 21 th century,women are still facing the living state full of contradictions,and it’s a long-term task for women to find themselves,based on the fact that women have been looking for themselves.The film industry,as an important cultural method of social life,makes great efforts to reflect living space and condition of women with its three characteristics of art,industry and medium,rendering the spiritual needs of women to find themselves.Female directors take the responsibility of women to find themselves with their gender attributes and unique experience,and among them Li Yu is one of the few directors who insists on the theme of women to find themselves.Her films always focus on the emotion and experience of the underlying women,trying to break the male discourse,gradually establishing a self-awareness of female in order to gain the social and academic reflection for female development.Although Li Yu films are few,but all of them are meant to look for the fact that male try to cover up female characteristics and to explore the mental and physical hurt of women from the perspective of female.Her works present the concrete contradiction between women and men,highlighting women make great efforts to break through the barriers other construct for them.Men have been a reference frame for women in a long time,but Li Yu insists on a female perspective and focus on the self cognition of women.Therefore,this paper is meant to start from Li Yu’s films,analyzing thedis-construction to male-centre film production.It makes a breakthrough to the traditional communication among the camera,actors,and audience.Li Yu’s contribution to female language methods and style is high valued,revealing that women have suppressed in the patriarchal social system in order to offer the basis to change the traditional relationship between camera,actors and the audience,which has significance for looking for new ideas of film creation and arousing the female consciousness,reflecting the prejudice in female politics’ s function on social and harmony relationship between women and men.This paper is valuable for the constrction of female films in China from this perspective.This paper meant to make contributions to female films critics,while combing the development of feminism and takes “compatibility”and “confounding”,and combining critics to feminism films and other literary theories in the meantime. |
