| Meyerhold was a Soviet,he experienced a lot in his art life.At that time,he was regarded as a special master in The Soviet Union.He tried to make progress in theater extremely,and also he was a revolutionary dramatist.His plays are fancy.Vahtangov said,Meyerhold’s every play is a complete genre.Meyerhold directed countless plays in his art life,these plays are not only different but also delicate.He left behind precious wealth for us.Meyerhold refined the standard of success.If all of people say it is a good play,it means this play fails completely.If all of people say it is a awful play,it means this play fail too,but it has something special.If everyone talk about a play,some of them like it,the rest of them hate it,this result means success.This standard was called “Meyerhold Standard”.That is why some audience support Meyerhold,and others oppose him after watching his play.In summer,everyone has their own opinion to Meyerhold’s play.Because of Meyerhold’s radical attitude,he had a lot of opponents,the most interesting thing is that Stanislavsky always protect his student,even they hold different concept with theater.Stanislavsky thought Meyerhold’s exploration made a new approach which Stanislavsky did not find.Meyerhold’s theater thought and acting concept are objects of thisthesis.We can include Meyerhold’s contribution,meanwhile understand his thought of theater via document literature and video.Thesis is divided into three parts.The first part expounds why Meyerhold has his own theater idea,and how he implement assumed theater with directing and stage setting approach.Presenting assumed theater,director leading and theater cinematic constitute the first part.The second part is in regard to Meyerhold’s understanding of acting method which absorbs assumption of Western traditional theater and assumption of Eastern theater.In the end,Meyerhold created biomechanics.The last part is about what we can learn from Meyerhold’s theater idea.There are four aspects,which is the thought of Meyerhold’s theater in China,the teaching of theater academy,the insufficient of Meyerhold and enlightenment from Meyerhold. |
