This paper is studying for the Japan image in the essays written by Li Changsheng.This paper will research the Japan image in the perspective of cross-culture study,also,use the imagology of comparative literature and the narratology to analyze the image of Japan.In addition,this paper will also discuss the reasons of the image formation and the writing strategy.This paper is composed of three major parts: the Introduction,the Main Body and the Conclusion.The Introduction states the research present state,methods and outline of the paper,then,clarifies the value of research: systematically studying the Japan image in his essays.The Main Body has three chapters.Chapter One presents Li Changsheng and his essays,and his travel in Japan.In this part,we can see his purpose to Japan and his experience in Japan.Chpater Two outlines the three images of Japan: reading Japan,restructured Japanese writers;tasting Japan,from the fish nation to the wine spirit;commenting Japan,from Japanese to Japan.Chapter Three will dicuss the imageforming mechanism in his essays.Firstly,analyzing the Japan image in the process of Li Changsheng's cultural identity.Then,analyzing the personalized narrative strategy from the point of the narratology,including two aspects,one is certifying: between native and exotic experiences,and the other is observing: Japan can be a helpful mirror for us.The Conclusion reviews the timely significance of the Japan image.Because The Japan image is a mirror for our guidance,we should take a more objective view to look the Japan,meanwhile,we should take more action to learn self-reflection from the image and reconstruct the Chinese way.
