Research On Chen Benli's The Precise Meaning Of Qu Yuan's Poems

Chen Benli had a hobby spot for Qu Yuan and his works in the Qing dynasty.According to creative motivation which admired Qu Yuan's high character,appreciate Qu Yuan's poetry,explore the precise meaning of Qu Yuan's poetry,eradicate previous mistakes,identify new ideas,Chen Benli wrote a book called The Precise Meaning of Qu Yuan's Poems.This book has research value.In this paper,based on review of the history of literary study of Songs of Chu and the research status of The Precise Meaning of Qu Yuan's Poems,we study the results of Chen Benli's explanation through period discussion,date analysis,case study and comparative study.In the first chapter,Chen Benli's life experience and his writings were introduced.Chen Benli already have multiple identities such as writer and collector.Thus,he was equipped with literary thinking,he was curious about ancient things.These influence his methods of explaining poetry:textual close reading,interpreting a poem according to the meaning,the method of comparing documents,take history as evidence.In the second chapter,we explained the influence of the trend of research on the study of Songs of Chu in Qianjia period.Then,the research results of interpretation of Exegesis about Songs of Chu were studied in The Precise Meaning of Qu Yuan's Poems.In the article,Chen Benli set corrections and errors to correct the major flaws of the narrators.In addition,individual words were explained in Immediate Annotation,Notes in the Text,Notes in the Eyebrow and Additional Notes.Chen Benli used the Xie Yun Method,the Straight Tone Method,and the Pronunciation Methodto phoneticize Songs of Chu and solved the problem of pronunciation.In the third chapter,we studied the interpretation of the chapter structure and rhetorical devices of Songs of Chu in The Precise Meaning of Qu Yuan's Poems.Then,the main interpretation of Songs of Chu was studied.Through understanding the essence of the words and phrases and dredging the context of Songs of Chu,Chen Benli revealed the emotional connotation of Songs of Chu and restored the literary features of Songs of Chu.In the fourth chapter,we introduced writing features and research results and the value of the cited literature in The Precise Meaning of Qu Yuan's Poems.Chen Benli has his own views.The Precise Meaning of Qu Yuan's Poems is a small book that come from specialist.
