Zither Concerto "If"

Zithe,known as "the treasure of national musical instruments,the wonderful flowers of common taste",is in full bloom in Chinese music.The zither of "How elegant the tone of the zither is,it is the most fashionable piece of music," has been spread to more than 2,000 years of history.In 21 th century,with the continuous development of music,the traditional music of the past has not been satisfied with the needs of the audience.And the plentiful expressiveness and plasticity of the zither bring a wide space for composers.Many composers are devoted to the study and creation of the zither,and combine the unique Oriental temperament with the modern musical style.Finally,there emerged a large zither concerto with the characteristics of the times "If".This work conveys the true meaning of "truth,goodness and beauty" through musical language and yearns for beautiful things.At this point,the author will take this work as the axis,in-depth analysis of its music structure and performance techniques.This paper tries to understand the unique artistic charm and cultural connotation of "If" by digging the historical background and humanistic spirit of the works,and ultimately understand its humanistic spirit.I hope to explore its characteristics and style through the author’s simple analysis.
