Longhua Temple is a famous ancient temple in Shanghai.In the period of the Republic of China,people used to visit Longhua Temple for fashion.In the 1930 s,the dispute between the Longhuasi for the abbot's choice and the monastic production continued.Eventually,in May 1947,the Longhua Temple Supervisory School and acting abbot Yong Zhe was brought to trial for the crime of traitor.This article selects the case as the research object,and uses the archives of the Shanghai Archives collection as well as the newspapers,Buddhist periodicals,local records and letters of the Republic of China as the main materials,and tries to accuse,arrest,and prosecute the Yongchan monk of Longhua Temple,the abbot of Shanghai in 1947.Finally,the case of acquittal was more systematically verified.On the one hand,a review was made of the issues concerning the inheritance of modern history and law of Shanghai Longhua Temple;on the other hand,the interests of the deaf people and the government,Buddhist associations,and local officials were discussed in this case.A series of important issues such as the relationship issue,the relationship between Buddhist monks and Buddhist monks are discussed.Therefore,after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,this article reconstructs the development process of the "Son of the traitors" in the context of the harassment and rape of the Chinese government in Shanghai.It involves the different positions of the governmental,merchants,laymen,and deaf people and their mutual relations.Intricate relationship between.Hope can help deepen understanding of the complex relations between modern countries,religions,and society.
