"Langyashan Five Heroes" is a far-reaching masterpiece in the 1950 s and 1960 s.The music was adapted from a true story during the period of Counter-Japanese War.The composer,Lv Shaoen, creatively adopted the narrative form of the traditional pipa, and drew lessons from the Western sonata form in the creation of pipa for the first time. This "combination of Chinese and western, ancient and modern" creative thinking, coupled with the combined use of the new pipa playing techniques and traditional Pipa dance techniques which are developed because of the need for the content of the work, made the pipa "Langyashan Five Heroes" a breakthrough success,It became one of the symbolic works of Chinese Pipa music in twentieth Century."Langyashan Five Heroes" is a narrative of single movement works. In 2005 the composer Lv Shaoen,,was invited to enlarge the original tune and renamed it as "Bloody Langyashan" and adapt the single movement into three movements. In this paper, the author combines the two versions of music score to analyze the music structure of the works.Based on a detailed understanding of the background and style of the works,he analyzed the two versions from various angles. So that she can further understand and analyze the two versions of music through the combination of playing skills and theories.
