Lu Shaoen's "First Symphony · Chinese Epic" Analysis And Research

Lv Shaoen is one of the most famous contemporary composers in our country.The first symphony for epic poem he wrote in 1963 is a symphony of a single movement.The whole song is about 40 minutes long.It depicts that the Chinese ancient peasant uprising is solemn and stirring,expressing the composer's memorial and grief for the ancient farmers hero of China.Any work of art is the unity of content and form,this paper will focus on the"content" and "form" of Lv Shaoen's "the first symphony for Chinese epic".Through his life and personality,view of the composer's value creation characteristics,creation reason and the creative process of the paper to reflect and reveal its content.Through the composition of the two kinds of means of music form:overall performance means(form)and basic means(melody line,rhythm,speed,strength,tone and timbre,polyphony,orchestration,harmony,mode etc.),to study and summarize the symphony.The purpose is to explain the complex and changeable structure form of the symphony more reasonably and scientifically,to reveal the creative thinking and idea of the composer and enhance the understanding of works.Meanwhile,it also can promote the creative practice the other way round.
