A Study On College Students' Political

Political trust refers to the reasonable expectations of the social public to the political system(including the government and its policies,political system and relevant public officials)and the interaction and partnership based on the system response.This thesis focuses on the hot issues in political psychology-political trust,measuring the explicit and the implicit political trust of college students.Through the research paradigm of implicit attitude,the author further clarifies the psychological mechanism of implicit political trust in explicit political trust,and provides the practical reference value of our advocating the construction of public order and good customs of the society.This study synthesizes the previous measuring methods of explicit political trust and implicit attitude,randomly selects the students in Wuhan's college as subjects,and explores the characteristics and the change features of their explicit political trust and implicit political trust by controlling the experimental conditions.The experimental results are explained by the combination of the dual processing theory and associative-propositional evaluation theory(APE).The conclusions can be drawn by the two experiments of this study as follows:1.College student subjects have positive implicit political trust attitude that is relatively stable and difficult to change significantly in laboratory conditions.2.Explicit political trust has the characteristics of vulnerability and under the condition of negative political trust,it is the ability dimension that damages.3.Explicit political trust and implicit political trust are comparatively two independent psychological processes,but sometimes they can affects each other.4.Under the condition of positive political trust,the explicit and implicit attitude of political trust is more consistent;Butfor negative political trust,the consistency of implicit and explicit political trust is lower.
