The Invtervention Of "Words" In Chinese Contemporary Art

It can't be evidenced when did words appeared in works of art.However,It can be seen the traces of text in artistic creations,regardless of the development of art history in the East and the west.Some as interpretive words,and others as decorative words.But until the western art history before twentieth Century,the noumenon of art is still dominated by painting and sculpture,and literal image reflection is only a supplementary role in the picture.In Chinese the traditional art is totally different with Western.The tradition to calligraphy blend in art was erected in the early Song Dynasty,which is due to the unique China Chinese characters and writing characteristics.The hieroglyphics and symbolic characters of Chinese characters are more complicated than the simple symbols in English.To this day,"words" as a medium to enter the work of art is not strange.In the works of art since postmodernism,the passage of words as artistic works has also become a consensus.However,as mentioned in the above mentioned cultural differences between east and west,it is difficult for us to take a whole set of western art standards into Chinese contemporary art.This article will discuss under the special circumstances of Chinese characters in China,how to be affected by the theory of western modernism,in the "words" as the medium of art works for how to intervene in the Chinese contemporary art.The research methods are interspersed with four independent perspectives of the artist case and Chinese contemporary art.In this article,we illustrate the interweaving of traditional Chinese culture and western modern thought.The discussion consists of six chapters.The first chapter is about how the development of Chinese art meets the background of western thought in modernization.This paper expounds the concept of the art workswith the words as the medium,and explains the practical significance and research status of it in contemporary art.Chapter two discusses the types of POP art works that respond to the changing social environment.It is mainly aimed at the artistic feedback that China has presented in the context of the post-reform and opening-up policy since 1978.Under the background of gradual commercialization of society after 1990 s,the influence of commercial society on people.In the art,there are the "red pop" of Wu Shanzhuan since the 1980 s and the "Political POP" of Wang Guangyi after the 1990 s.The third chapter discussed the modernity of the influence of the internal logic of art,works of art in the criticism of the old cultural premise,emphasis on new pursuit,embodied in the art on the Dada.Huang Yongping of dada in xiamen has done a lot of literature in this logic.The fourth chapter discusses the artistic expression of the artist in the reflection of culture itself,which is embodied in philosophy,sociology or traditional culture itself.Xu Bing and Gu Wenda reflect on the cultural symbol of Chinese characters.The fifth chapter aims at the exploration of the art noumenon language,where "words" as the language of artistic expression,according to the inherent characteristics of the culture,make different artistic expressions in different contexts.The characters can be summed up as: the correspondence,narrative,recording and writing of words and objects.These types are more common in contemporary art,and are also several types of expressive force in the artistic expression of words as media.Song Dong,Qiu Zhijie and so on belong to this kind of model.Chapter six summarizes the influence of the theories of western modernism on the art works of Chinese contemporary art.In addition,the author tries to guide the words media practice in the creation of personal art,and further expand the language boundary of the words media.
