A Study On The Theory And Practice Of Thai-Oriented Elementary Tourism Oral Chinese Textbooks Compilation

In recent years with the development of Thai tourism,some universities and vocational colleges in Thailand have begun to set up Tourism Chinese Major.But the common problem these universities are facing is that they do not have a tourism chinese textbook for elementary students to learn.Based on this situation,we will do a research on the compilation of Thai-Oriented elementary tourism oral chinese textbooks.First,we will make a comprehensive comparative analysis of the only two Thai-Oriented elementary tourism chinese textbooks which are Tourism Chinese-primary text and Short-Term Spoken Chinese-tourim text.So we can get the advantages and disadvantages of the two textbooks.These information will provide reference for the following compilation of textbooks.Next,we will take the Rattana Bundit University as an example,we are going to conduct a questionnaire survey on the”Requirements of Learning Tourism Chinese”for college students and analyse the characteristics and the demands of the students,so as to determine the writing goals of the textbooks,the main goal is to improve the students’ ability to make good use of Chinese for tourism communicatiom.Third,we will draw on the research results of the textbook compilation in the academic circles and then determine the principles for compiling textbooks and clarify the feasibility and scientificalness that we regard the teaching concept of “Structure-Function-Culture” and the “Task-Content” teaching method as the theoretical orientation of the textbooks.Fourth,On the basis of relatively complete realistic demands and theoretical research,we will conduct the compilation of the textbooks.Last,we will analyse the compiled textbook and propose the unique features of the compiled textbook,put forward some relevant suggestions on the use of teaching.
