The main task of Chinese language and culture education is to cultivate the younger generation of overseas Chinese with the characteristics of Chinese culture,and make them survive and develop better in the local area.For overseas Chinese,Chinese language education is necessary,but the Chinese culture education is more important.With the vigorous development of Chinese language and culture education,how to present culture knowledge in specific teaching materials,how to carry out culture knowledge in Chinese education is a problem that scholars have to consider.This paper chose two representative textbooks of mainland China: "Zhong Wen" and "Han Yu" series of Chinese teaching materials as the research objects.We presented family ethics,"loving father and faithful son,husband righteous and wife obedient,show love and respect as good brothers should" as a starting point,studied the selection and distribution of text,classroom conversation exercises and after-school supplementary materials in the textbooks:we found that the two sets of teaching materials,in primary and junior high school stage,the focus of the selection are presented in the family ethics "loving father and faithful son".As for concrete presentation form,Primary school textbooks tend to direct expression and direct education,while Junior high school textbooks tend to use the form of rational expression.On the basis of this research,we combined the relationship between family ethics and language teaching,then analysis in three aspects of the family ethics and Chinese teachers,family ethics and student,family ethics and Chinese textbooks : the Chinese teachers should first improve their literacy,well versed in Chinese excellent family ethics of "Dao",the teaching contents in teaching process should based on the teaching material but also is higher than the materials.At the same time,the teaching content appropriate selective processing according to the characteristics of the student.Meanwhile,the family ethics that the student learned through textbooks should combined with visits to historical and real experience and identity.While family education and community education plays a very important role in it.The preparation and selection of Chinese textbooks on family ethics is an important part,from this point,when select family ethics we should remember the principle follow the stage,the consistence,tradition and modernity,universality and moderation.While the specific form of family ethics also should remember the principle follow the stage,subjectivity and diversity.At the same time,the teacher written reference book should also give full play to the role of reference and direction.
