The teaching of oral Chinese plays an important role in improving the oral communication level of the Chinese learners.However,the effect of oral Chinese teaching is not satisfactory at present.The defects in the form and content of textbook materials are one of the important reasons.To address this issue,this article takes the “Development Chinese” intermediate oral textbooks as an example to study how to build an oral corpus for teaching Chinese as a foreign language based on the WeChat public account,with a view to providing targeted real corpus more conveniently and assisting in the oral Chinese teaching.The main content includes:1.The research background,research content,significance and methods are described through the literature research.The related materials of aiding oral teaching,the role of corpus,the construction of corpus and the related research on online platform-assisted oral teaching are summarized to demonstrate the feasibility and advantages of building an oral corpus based on the WeChat public account.2.The vocabulary of the “Development Chinese” middle-level oral textbooks is extracted and divided into four grades according to the word frequency to determine the corresponding corpus quantity.By exploring simple and easy-to-use software and websites,the method of collecting,sorting,and processing corpora on the premise of avoiding the complications of complex computer technology is discussed,and a "machine + manual" solution is proposed.3.The WeChat public account is developed and designed,and how to use the Wechat public account based oral corpus is introduced.4.The main points of this paper are summarized,some of the limitations of this study are pointed out,and the outlook for the future is proposed.This study is an exploration of corpus-assisted oral Chinese teaching.There is still much room for development in the construction and application of corpus in the field of Chinese as a foreign language.
