A Report On The Chinese Translation Of A New Era For Cooperation:Next Generation Views Of The US-Japan Alliance(Excerpt)

This is a report based on E-C translation cooperation between Guilin Research Center for Government Digit Dissemination and Culture as a Soft Power and Guangxi Normal University.This report discusses Chinese translation practices for the first two articles in A New Era for Cooperation: Next Generation Views of the US-Japan Alliance.Currently,no Chinese translations of these two excerpted articles exist.The two excerpted articles respectively describe the tripartite relations between the US-Japan alliance and China's Taiwan province and the cooperation of the US-Japan alliance in outer space.They have the characteristics of the times and therefore have the high translation value.In this report,the author combines the practice of translation and through the specific cases to analyze the key points and difficulties encountered in the translation process,and how to use the translation methods appropriately to handle and analyze them.This report first introduces the source and significance of this practice and the structure of this report.Second,it briefly introduces the original texts and their authors and analyzes the linguistic characteristics of the texts.The Chapter Three Case Analysis is the core chapter of this report.The author analyzes the lexical and syntactic aspects and also analyzes the long and difficult sentences to convey the original information accurately;Finally,the author summarizes the translation practice and explains the problems and solutions in the process of translation,the enlightenment and limitation and unresolved problems of the study.This report provides in-depth analysis and discussion of translation activities.Through this translation practice,the author has gained a lot of experience,and her translation skills and processing capabilities have also been greatly improved.
