"Drug Literature" is a wonder of the American literary world in the middle of the 20 th century, and William Burroughs is one of the representative figures. His “Junkie Trilogy” can be said to be a descriptive portrayal of his life.In this series of novels,Burroughs reveals to readers a hidden world of addicts.Naked Lunch is the most influential work of the "Junkie Trilogy".This work is unique and depicts the image of a junkie and gay group in a hellish world. The attention of the novel to the important proposition of the modern philosophy of the "Body" has been incorporated into the theoretical perspective of life politics.Under this theoretical perspective,we can better observe the spiritual dilemma in the literary world of Burroughs, and thus experience the tension between politics and aesthetics embodied in his works. The first chapter focuses on the aesthetic implications of Naked Lunch, and discusses the aesthetics of silence in the novel using the literary phenomenon of "deformation" as a starting point. It analyzes the image characteristics of "insect man" in the novel through specific cases and discusses "deformation".On the basis of a literary phenomenon,it also discusses the overall creative style of the novel and summarizes its anti-language and anti-literary aesthetic characteristics. The second chapter views the "interval" world in the novel by the Biopolitics, simply combs the theoretical pedigree of the Biopolitics, explains the bio-power operation in the "interval" and the characteristic of the junkies/Queer as the bare life. The third chapter puts Naked Lunch into the political culture context of the "Born Generation" literary movement to discuss."Naked Lunch" as a product of the "Born Generation" literary movement, naturally has a strong political nature, this political manifestation in the content of the novel is the excess of the addict / queer body, but this overstep eventually The path of destruction,so the idealism of Burroughs must also be nihilism. The conclusion holds that Naked lunch has the dual rebellions of form and content, although the rebellion is failing eventually, but it represents a kind of effort to the return of humanism,so it has positive significance in the modern society where the image of man is dismembered and degraded.
