Study On Sculpture Design In Urban Night Scene

Under the development platform of contemporary social economy and culture technology,the flourish of urban night life has gradually become an integral part of our daily life.It also has the subtle influence on functional and landscape space of the city,and formed different space types from day to night.The vibrant urban night has become one of the characteristics of modern cities which reflects the degree of social economy and prosperity,it's also the main leisure time of people.As a unique artistic form of focusing on artistic appreciation and educational function,urban sculpture is an important element and key content of urban environmental space design.But as the city sculptures get more and more exuberant with urbanization and get more and more prominent for the city,there are some disconnections between the day view and the night view of the urban sculptures.No good and complete sculpture landscape elements formed there.In view of this important phenomenon of urban night scene development,this article takes the research ideas as raising problems-analyzing problems-solving problems,to analyze and discuss the sculptures in urban night scene.The article mainly includes the following contents:First,as the breakthrough point of backgrounds above,and on the basis of understanding the urban night scene,this article analyzes and summarizes the sculpture landscape elements?development trend of city night view,and the relevance of urban sculpture design and night view,namely,the prosperity of urban night scene has provided a larger scope of development for the sculpture design in city night view.Secondly,the article selects ? analyzes and summarizes two artists' classic cases of sculpture design in urban night scene.Two artists' cases are at home and abroad,they are Landscape Sculpture Works by Chinese sculptor Lu Pinchang,and Fishing Net Sculpture Series by American artist Janet Echelman.The article carries out detailed analysis for their themes,design philosophies,artistic expressions and the reasons why they got success,to summarizethe main problems and causes of the sculptures in the urban night view existing in China.Thirdly,the article analyzes the relation of the sculpture designs between urban day view and night view,comprehensively dissects the main expressive ways of sculptures in night scene,namely,the artistic application of light in the sculpture design in city night view,and integrated expression analysis of light and sculpture.Combining the analysis of excellent cases and theories,taking the main basis of the relation of Sculpture-Night scene-People,this article fully interprets the main service targets of sculptures,which are characteristic behaviors of audiences,visual psychology of audiences and their aesthetic acceptance for sculpture at night.The article proposes the audiences' requirements hierarchy for sculpture design in urban night view.The requirements of safety,comfort,aesthetics,interaction and art value.And we concludes this design strategy for sculptures in urban night view.(1)Focuses on the combination of traditional culture,local humanities and the designs of sculpture in urban night view;(2)Explores the effective creation of sculpture functionality and artistry in urban night view;(3)Features the organic integration of sculpture artistry and publicity in urban night view;(4)Masters ultimate goal of the harmonious development of sculpture designs.Finally,from the perspective of design practice,the article takes Theme sculpture project design in Wenjin Park,Zhangye City as the application case,verifies?analyzes and discusses the theoretical results of the study.This article focuses on sculpture design methods,requirements hierarchy and design strategy in current city night view,and through the elaboration of theories and practices,in order to provide some theoretical bases and ideas for sculpture design in urban night scene.
