| “Pomp and Circumstance March”are appealing classical orchestral pieces composed by British composer Edward Elgar.The March is known to have 4 different remix versions for electronic organ: Prof.Lei Zhu(Shanghai Conservatory of Music,China)remixed for Ringway electronic organ;Junichi Matsumoto(Japan)remixed for Yamaha electronic organ 01c;EikoKawajima(Japan)remixed also for Yamaha electronicorgan 01c;and Max Takano(Japan)remixed for Yamaha electronic organ 02 c.This article will take Junichi Matsumoto ’s version of the YAMAHA electronic pipe organ 01 c as an example.By studying the techniques of adaptation,the skills involved in the performance and the music performance,we can understand some basic rules in the adaptation of the electronic organ music,and finally combine our own performance with this work.With experience and experience,we can conclude some practical methods and skills. |
