As a new discipline,Master of Translation and Interpreting(MTI)encounters a few problems in its teaching practice. This thesis aims to find out answers to three questions.First, are MTI(Interpreting)students satisfied with MTI(Interpreting)teaching both generally and in specific aspects such as teaching material, teaching method, teaching facility, class form and practice opportunity? What is the tendency is it going upward or is it going downward? Second,if MTI students are satisfied, what good experience can be drawn? Third,if they are not satisfied, what is the problem or problems? How MTI program can be improved from the perspective of MTI students? With the results of questionnaires and interviews, conclusions are drawn as follows: taking CFAU MTI(Interpreting)teaching as a case study,MTI(Interpreting)students’ satisfaction varies from MTI alumni to MTI students in school.Degree of satisfaction of CFAU MTI alumni is higher, while that of MTI students of CFAU in school goes downward. So for the development of MTI program,an assessment and knock-out mechanism is proposed, which aims to ensure that students play a main role in MTI(Interpreting)teaching. |
