Studies On Some Issues Of The Republican Guard Group Belongs To Countriesin Mordern Suiyuan Areas During The Republic Of China(1916— 1937)

Since the late Qing dynasty,The bandit problem is getting worse all over the country.For the purpose of eliminating banditry and checking account.The sate of Yuan Shikai began to set up the republican guard groups.After the establishment of the republic of China,continue to follow such a policy.This article uses a variety of republican archives and newspaper information.Combining the research methods of regional social history.Militia armed with grass-roots society——The republic guard group belongs to countries in SuiYuan area is the research perspective.This article studies the historical background,development situation and social impact.This thesis consists of four parts: preface,text(for three chapters),conclusion and reference.The foreword describes the meaning of the topic,the definition of relevant concepts,the previous research,the information and the innovation.The first chapter of this thesis is the background of the republican guard group.This thesis mainly introduces the historical situation and banditry problem in the countries which belong to the modern SuiYuan area.The second chapter is an analysis of the development of the republican guard group mission in every country,including the establishment,adaptation,personnel structure,military training,funding and configuration of the republican guard groups.The third chapter is the discussion of the role and limitation of the republican guard group,which is expounded from the perspective of socialsecurity,and the republican guard group under the control of local gentry.In the end,it also gives a brief account of the other organizations which fight against bandits and adapted for the Able-bodied man in Bao-Jia system and Security group.The conclusion part summarizes the author's enlightenment to the development of the county republican guard groups in SuiYuan area.
