Samul Nori is a form of percussion ensembles that originated in South Korea in the late 1970 s.It was named for its folk characteristics and its use of four instruments, including kkwaenggwari, puk, ching, and changgo.Samul Nori circulated in Korean society in China was imported from South Korea in the 1990 s.After years of development,it has become a symbol of China's Korean music culture and has received widespread praise from the society. As an emerging music variety, its development history, cultural significance, and musical style are extremely ethnic and have high ornamental value and research value.Based on the Samul Nori text material and live music observation and combined with the academic theory of art anthropology, this article tries to construct a new model of the study of the Samul Nori. The study of this article involves three aspects.First, the historical process of constructing the Samul Nori.Through the macro historical observation of ethnic changes,it illustrates the possibility of cultural generation. At the same time,it discusses the development thread of the Samul Nori and its predecessor Pungmul Nori, and then constructs a three-dimensional historical map.Second,it explains the presentation and meaning of the Samul Nori.Through the observation and description of the Samul musical instrument, the sound manifestation, the musical form and the performance space as the representation of Samul Nori, the meaning of the deep Samul symbol and music metaphor is further explained. Finally,it discusses social maintenance and personal experience of the Samul Nori.Social maintenance is an important factor in the survival and development of the Samul Nori.Through the interpretation of economic models, presence of multiple forces, and other maintenance factors, its survival status and preservation significance are explained. At the same time,by paying attention to the inheritors of intangible cultural heritage in personal experience, the significance of personal factors for the construction of the Samul Nori is explained.
