The Literary Creation Of Ushijima Haruko During "Manchuria" Period

Ushijima Haruko lived in "Manchukuo " for ten years,creating a large number of literary works with the background of "Manchuria".In 1937,Ushijima Haruko went to the literary world of "Manchuria" byShuguan Wang(The original work is called pig),and made a stir.The novel was once rated as the second prize(first prize vacancy)forthe first national memorial prize for literature and art.In 1940,Ushijima Haruko published Liantian Zhu,caused by local literary concern in japan.The novel has been serialized,and was nominated one of the candidate works for the twelfth Showa fifteen years in the second half of the “Akutagawa prize”.In 1942,Ushijima Haruko wrote a novel ofFemale,which was strongly publicized by the Japanese authorities for meeting the needs of the national policy of Japan.The research object of this paper is the creation of Ushijima Haruko during "Manchuria" period.On the basis of the interpretation of the works,the author’s "Manchuria" experience and the understanding of China are explored.Haruko’s creation during the period of "Manchuria" can be divided into three stages,Fengtian period(Fengtian isnow Shenyang),Baiquan period and Xinjing period(Xingjing is now Changchun).This study selected the three periods of Ushijima Haruko’s masterpiece Shuguan Wang,Liantian Zhu and Female as the main research object.These three works are representative works of Haruko in the "Manchuria" period,respectively reveals personal experience and creative change of the author three different periods in “Manchuria”,which is also the reason why this thesis choosesthe three worksof the three period to study Haruko’s "Manchuria" creation.Therefore,the study of Ushijima Haruko’screation of "Manchuria" period is an important way to interpret the writer’s "Manchuria" experience.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is focusing on the creation of Fengtian period,explores Ushijima Haruko’s early experience of "Manchuria" through Shuguan Wang.Shuguan Wang takes "Benevolent governmentand Promised land" as a political theme,created an official image in the new erawho justices for the people and strives to build "manchukuo",andit has strong ideas of colonialism.The second chapter focuses on the creation of the Baiquan period,and through the character and plot of Liantian Zhu,combined with the background of the times,analyses the experience of Harukoin Baiquan.Liantian ZhutakesBaiquan as the theme,creating an image of whowork for authorities for "manchukuo".It is also related to the "National Union.This novel is similar to Shuguan Wang,but its understanding of "manchukuo" begins to touch the essence.The third chapter mainly interprets Ushijima Haruko’s unique "Manchuria experience" by interpreting the creation ofXin Jing period.In the Xin Jing period,Haruko combines women with war,shaping the image of "military mother" serving the war,and it is also a true portrayal of her own image.The last part is the conclusion of this paper.Through the interpretation of the creation of the three periods of Haruko,it can be seen that Haruko is eventually swallowed by the wave of Japanese militarism.She has played a role in promoting the Japanese War objectively and has an inescapable responsibility for war.
