Abstract/Summary:
The study of the silver currency of the Ming Dynasty has always been a key area in the economic history of the Ming Dynasty.The Jiangnan region of the Ming Dynasty,to a certain extent,represented the economic development trend of China at that time,and studied the fiscal silver of the Jiangnan of the Ming Dynasty.For understanding the Ming Dynasty’s economic development process and other aspects are indispensable research value.The whitening of the Ming Dynasty currency was a significant social change of historic significance in the Ming Dynasty.From the national level,it was roughly divided into four stages according to time:Hongwu period,Yongle to Xuande period,zhengtong to Tianshun period,after Chenghong periodThe tax system of the Ming Dynasty was very complicated.In the early Ming Dynasty,it mainly received two kinds of labor and Government rent.The basic organization system was the Li jia system and the the most grain household system.The process of fiscal silvery in the south of the Jiangnan region is carried out under the background of national currency silvery,and fiscal silvery is an important influence of currency silvery.From the reform of Zhou chen during the Xuande period to the reform of Fanying during the Chenghua period,the fiscal silver was initially formed.During the Jiajing period,Ouyangduo’s reform of the law and Pangshangpeng’s reform of the whip law made Jiangnan’s fiscal silvery further mature.The silver currency of the Ming Dynasty had the disadvantage of insufficient circulation,so the thinkers of the early Qing Dynasty in the late Ming Dynasty advocated abandoning the use of silver and using copper coins;As a historical phenomenon,the silverization of currency should be objectively examined in the historical environment at that time,and it should not be optimistic to make optimistic assumptions about the development of China’s modernization.
