In this paper, from the Angle of the monetary system evolution in the Qing dynasty,discusses some problems existing in the monetary system in the Qing dynasty,analyzedthe consequences and the cause of the monetary system of the chaos in the Qing dynasty,and its revelation for the contemporary monetary system reform in our country. Workand the innovation of this article is mainly manifested in two aspects: on the one hand,on systems of copper, silver and systematically in this paper, the evolution process ofthe development of paper money system. The author through the various documents andhistorical materials, and through the three main material copper, silver, paper currencyspecification, the quality of a material, casting, issuance and circulation policy contentand complementary;,on the other hand, the monetary system evolution process in thepaper, on the basis of the Qing dynasty, such as currency turmoil, the proliferation ofprivate money, silver outflow, scattered distribution, monetary system disorders such asproblems from a new perspective, thus a new conclusion: one is that from silver andcopper are available in the analysis of the impact of monetary system, it is concludedthat China’s silver and bronze too dependent on imports will lead to China’s monetaryvalue influenced by abroad, thus make China monetary system passive to accept theinfluence of western trade with China, even the direct manipulation of the western greatpowers; Second,this paper puts forward the concept of ratio of gold and silver rate ofinnovation, from the Angle of the gold and silver rate ratio analysis of Chinese andwestern, it is concluded that in the world under the background of all gold I only silver,Jin Guiyin base trend cause the outflow of China’s gold,long-term debt poundsdeifcient, the deterioration of the fiscal revenue, etc. Conclusion; Three is,from theperspective of monetary policy analysis,it is concluded that the government onmonetary control is insufifcient,currency such as scattered distribution is the importantcause of monetary chaos in the Qing dynasty. By the above conclusions are furtherextended, by contrasting two times at the turn of the century of China’s opening to theoutside world the opposite consequences, repudiated "all-round opening to the outsideworld immediately, within ten years China will overtake the United States" the wrongidea, it is concluded that only active, progressive, opening to the outside world step bystep,the monetary system of the western forms,to serve the economic development of our country’s real conclusion. |
