In daily life, individuals often need to make decisions, the process of making decisions is influenced by various factors, such as the environment in which decisions are made, and internal factors such as emotional stress. Both factors may play a role in the decision-making process, and the decision-making process can be understood as the using of decision strategies. The relationship between emotion and decision-making has become an important field in contemporary decision-making research. The past research on emotions and decision-making is usually based on the value of emotion, with the recognition of ATF theory,in recent years, more research started discussion the specific emotions, because different emotions may produce different results.Emotional stress in this study is an emotional state caused by a threatening stimulus or event.Emotional events are novel, unexpected, and potentially threatening events. This unpleasant and stressful event can be experienced in real life or in laboratory Settings.Besides, this study also explore the variables of the environment which are exactly the environment of validities of cue.The validity is defined as the conditional probability of making a correct inference when the cue discriminates, which environment factor include two environmental structures: the equal validities environment and the unequal validities environment. The process of this study is try to examine the adaptive using of decision strategies with different variables of the environment of decision-making under the emotional stress. Moreover, most of the research on decision making is the result of decision making, but not much research on the specific problems in the using of decision strategies. But the process of decisionmaking is precisely what reflect the impact an effect size of emotional stress and validities environment on the decision-making,which not only has the theory significance, and has the practical significance. This study randomly selected 122 college students and randomly assigned to the four conditions of stress-unequal group, neutral emotions-unequal groups,stress-equal groups and neutral emotions-equal groups, which tend to research the influences of emotional stress and validities environment on the process of decision-making.In the experiment, the individual needs to complete the computer-based inference task that Use E-prime to write the program. The participants’ depression and anxiety were measured before the experiment.During the experiment, the time spent on each clue and the sequence of information search was recorded. This study had been found:Under the equal environment, individuals tend to use WADD strategy, but under the unequal environments, individuals tend to use the TTB strategy; In emotional variables, individuals with emotional stress were more likely to use WADD strategies than neutral ones.
