Dali is located in the triangle of India,Myanmar and Tibet.It has been a throat fortress in western Yunnan since ancient times,and Erhai is one of the earliest cultural birthplaces in southwest China.It is in such a unique geographical advantage,Dali breda colorful culture.With the construction of "Belt and Road," Dali,the hub of the Southern Silk Road,has also entered the field of vision.However,this is only one aspect of the problem.What makes people pay more attention is that Dali is the collection department of Chinese and Indian civilizations.The culture here highlights the characteristics of the two ancient civilizations,which is the most classical in the expression of Bai folk literature.Therefore,based on the existing and comprehensive collection of Bai folk stories with a wide range of story types,this paper will make a comprehensive analysis of the stories,and we will see that in the process of cultural exchange and integration,Bai folk literature not only can absorb foreign culture very well,but also can fully absorb the nutrients of native national culture,and form a diversified but always unique folk literature.The thesis consists of the following four parts:The first part is the introduction,mainly describes the reason of selected the topic,the current domestic and international research on the Dali Bai folk stories,the main content involved and the shortcomings and insufficiencies of the study,as well as the research process and methods.The second part mainly introduces some related background of cultural exchanges between ancient India and Dali.First of all,the way of communication between the two places,that is,the specific traffic lines are introduced.Secondly,from the three aspects of politics,economy and religion,this paper expounds the causes of the cultural exchanges between India and Dali.Finally,it mainly analyzes the main period of cultural exchanges between India and Dali.The third part focuses on the influence of Indian culture on the folk tales of Dali bai nationality from three aspects: concept,plot and story type.The fourth part expunds the Dali native culture in the face of foreign Indian culture,how to absorb the reception to make local culture diversity,while maintaining their own unique national culture.Firstly,it introduces the Bai folk literature in ancient times and Nanzhao Dali period from the types,characteristics and cultural characteristics of the stories.Secondly,through the analysis of the story plot,the acceptance and variation of the characters,the fusion of the local stories and the foreign stories is discussed.Finally,the author makes further reflection on how to adapt foreign culture to local culture better.
