The Research Of Japanese Scholar Teng Lisuo’s Xunzi Discrimination

A group of scholars who respected Chinese Confucianism during the Edo Period in Japan were able to read and comment on the classical Chinese philosophers and interpret them in accordance with their understanding and wrote their books.As a result,they have left a large number of books on Japanese Confucianism.Studying these works and understanding Japanese scholars’ interpretations of Chinese classics are of great significance for us to study the spread of Confucianism.This article analyzes and explains the annotation characteristics of Japanese scholars’ Xunzi Discrimination,revealing the Xunzi’s thoughts of intercultural communication in Japan.The introduction introduces the general research about the annotation of Xunzi,the purpose and significance of this topic,research methods and innovations.First of all,introduce the Japanese scholar Teng Lisuo and his Xunzi Discrimination basic situation.Secondly,it analyzes the exegesis and exegesis of Xunzi Discrimination.This chapter analyzes the system of Xunzi Discrimination from two aspects:layout and interpretation.The notes use many terms of exegesis.According to their role in annotation,they are divided into six categories of terms: terms of solution,terms of solution,Sub-chapter of the terms of the sentence,the description of the general terms of the pseudonym,and the terms of rhetorical methods.Then,textual research on Xunzi Discrimination is carried out and compared with the interpretation of Xunzi Collection Solution by Wang Xianqian,a scholar in the Qing Dynasty.Influenced by the cultural trend and knowledge of different ethnic groups,the two people have unique opinions on the annotation of Xunzi.This chapter analyzes the typical differences between the two.Finally,from the perspective of Xunzi’s thought spread in Japan,this paper expounds the literature value and influence of Jurun’s Xunzi Discrimination.In addition,the Japanese absorption of Chinese culture thinking and inspiration.Any country needs a steady stream of excellent foreign cultures,assimilating the quintessence of foreign cultures and eventually bringing its own culture together with foreign cultures.When the Japanese nation absorbs Xunzi’s thought as a foreign culture,it has a process of resolving,choosing,absorbing and digesting.
