The Research On The "Zhengfeng·Zi Jin" Of The Book Of Songs

Zi Jin is the 17 th poem of Zhengfeng,which is a part of The Book of Songs.Scholars throughout history have different explanations on this poem's purport.From the political allegorical poems in Confucian classics pointed by Mao Zhuan,Zheng Jian and Kong Shu,its purport soon turned into extravagance,which proposed by Zhu Xi.In contemporary times,the purport was developed into love songs.The interpretation of its poetry in different times embodies the evolution of each stage's ideological,political,and cultural.Based on the reference to the original literature,this paper summarizes the distinct view on Zi Jin's purport.At the same time,this paper will explore the relevant content of Zi Zin through analyzes and retrospect an amount of perspectives.The full paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter studies the words of Zi Jin.Due to The Books Songs existed a long period of time,the historical background of most of the poems has been unable to verify.Word exegesis has becoming a gateway to explore poetry's content.In the poem Zi Jin,the interpretations of Qing Jin,Tiao Da and Cheng Que are controversial.The different understandings of the three groups of words reflect the connotation of the Zi Jin.The author categorized the specific views of each view,combined with relevant literature,finally obtained a more objective explanation based on the understanding.The second chapter studies the purport of Zi Jin.It totally divided into two mainly themes—politics and emotion,which has many special opinions.Under the influence of criticizing abolishing school,there are views emphasizing enlightenment like respecting for ritual,cultivating talent and teachers and students criticizing each other.Under the influence of extravagance,there are views about women longing for men,men meeting with women.Some scholars combined related rituals to analyze Zi Jin's topics such as the internal and external differences,thinking about gentlemen.The author summarized different kinds of article in all ages,and analysis them from two period-traditional Poeticsrom and new period literature.At the same time,the author made a commentary on Zheng's related background.The third chapter is literature review.As an impotant representative work during the pre-Qin period,the research on The Book of Songs should not be confined to the study ofConfucian classics,but should be regarded as a charming poetry.The poem Zi Jin was conveyed with its lively and vivid emotion and its unique cultural implication.The first part of the chapter analyzes the literary characteristics of Zi Jin.And the second part analyzes its related cultural implication,which based on later literati's inheritance.
