A Research On The Application Effect Of English Vocabulary Learning For Secondary Vocational School Students With "Baicizhan"

As the globalization propels increasingly,the status of English is becoming more and more important as well.Whereas,the non-English major students in secondary vocational school usually have negative learning attitude and low interest towards English,the common required course.Especially for the part of vocabulary,the learning process is indeed a boring burden for them.In order to find the way to transform the situation,this thesis would start with APP which students use frequently and choose the application "Baicizhan" as the tool which is suitable for the feature of secondary vocational school students to explore whether it could change the status quo of the students in vocabulary learning in this way.This research used literature survey method,investigation method and action research method,etc.Through literature research method,I will comb and summarize the study of using application on smart phone from abroad and home.I investigated the learning attitude and strategies on vocabulary of vocational school students in my intern school and collected their opinion on learning words by using application through questionnaire method.with the method of action research,I has chosen two parallel classes with one of them as the experimental class using"Baicizhan"during the semester and explore the influence of using "Baicizhan" in learning vocabulary.Randomly found few students in experimental class and interviewed them in order to seek out the disadvantage of learning vocabulary by application and put forward the solving methods.It is proved that applying with "Baicizhan" could improve the strategy in studying,motivate students in learning English remarkably and enrich their vocabulary effectively.This vocabulary learning method obtained the acceptance and preference from most experimental students.However,this kind of vocabulary learning method is not perfect at all,it still has some problems.Thus,teachers’ reasonable guidance and the further exploratory of researchers are still needed.
