| Take Bogu Image on as the object of the research in this paper,which is the largest and most well preserved carvings of residential buildings in the Hancheng Dangjia village in the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties.On the basis of field research,we topologically classify the Bogu patterns in stone carving,brick carving and wood carving in Dangjia Village,sum up the rules of the patterns,and try to restore the decorative patterns of the carving in space according to Bogu Image.According to the time,it was in the Qing Dynasty when the development of economy and culture had reached its peak.Based on the Bogu Image of Dangjia Village,we classify Bogu patterns by using the typology research method,and probe into the origin of combination forms of the Bogu Image in terms of the manifestation and rules of the patterns in Dangjia Village,as well as the cultural connotation reflected in the process of development and change of the Bogu Image.We attempt to explore the embodiment of Bogu culture and elegant culture advocated in Ming and Qing dynasties in the carving art of folk houses,which is a small visual art phenomenon,and the cultural connotation behind Bogu Image generation and transformation.The article is divided into three parts.The first part elaborates the formation and development of Bogu image.To summarize the formation and development of Bogu images in the carving,the author thinks that the process of Bogo Image’s evolution and development is from description to drawing,from drawing to ornamentation,and back to ornamentation.In this paper,the object of study is focused on the Bogu patterns as decoration in the carving,especially the ones in the gate pier in the shape of box which belongs to stone-carved gate piers and is the most exquisite and unique.,according to the shape of the Bogu in sculpture,the Bogu patterns on the pier stone are divided into:type A:tripod type,type B:furnace type,type C:other types of three types.The second part starts from the form of Bogu image.and summarizes the symmetry distribution of the pattern in the layout,and the basic characteristics of the square composition,and the summary of the rules of Bogu patterns in Dangjia Village,the author name it "three types of stove bottle" and its combination form comes from the collocation form of "three things of furnace bottle".The third part,using the parallel material analysis party’s home village carving object of worship in ancient wind and respecting culture idea,and rich ancient culture in the process of conceptual change image contains a variety of cultural connotation.This paper is based on the investigation of the Dangjia village,and has learned about the actual situation of the villagers living in the village.What we need need to do in this paper is to inquire into the social ideology and cultural connotation behind the image,explore the ideology and culture behind the Bogu pattern,and investigate the social trend of this period. |
