In the 1980s,the task-oriented task-based teaching method was developed,and it was taken seriously by many educators.At present,it is very popular in the international educational field.Task-based teaching method emphasizes "learning by doing",that is,learning in the tasks.Teachers assign tasks,and students need to use language to complete the tasks.During this period,what is the most important thing is making students master the language knowledge and skills,so that to cultivate the students' communicative competence.Therefore,this paper takes 43 students in the second grade of English major of Panyapiwat Institute of Management in Thailand as the teaching objects,and conducts one-semester task-type teaching design and practice in the course of professional Chinese spoken language.Among them,corresponding tasks for each unit are designed according to the requirements and interests of students,and also focus on providing real language situation for students,makes them better grasp the knowledge and skills in real communication.This article consists of five chapters.The first three chapters focused on the background and related theories of task-based teaching and described the practice of task-based teaching in the professional Chinese language classroom.The fourth chapter emphasized on the investigation and analysis of the previous period and the teaching feedback.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.Among all chapters,the first chapter mainly explains the significance of the chosen topic,the content and methods of the research,and sums up the relevant research on task-based teaching methods at home and abroad.The second chapter expounds the definition of task-based pedagogy and related theories,including definitions,teaching principles,teaching features,teaching requirements,and theme design and task practice procedures.The third chapter states the instructional design of task-based teaching method in the Chinese speaking class,including the three stages of the task implementation,the teaching cases and tasks that need attention in the design of the task,and also introduces the task-based teaching methods in the professional Chinese speaking class.The teaching design situation in the school includes the teaching materials used,teaching objectives,and instructional design cases.The fourth chapter is the investigation and analysis of the previous period and teaching feedback.The fifth chapter is an epilogue that summarizes the advantages of the task-based approach in all aspects.
