A Transformation Study Of Hong Kong Gangster Films After The Regression In 1997(1997-2017)

As an important historical time node,the return of Hongkong on July 1,1997 has epoch-making significance for Hongkong gangster films.With the development of the times and social changes,Hongkong gangster films have also undergone great transformation at all levels.By combing the texts and related information of Hongkong gangster films from twenty years after the return of Hongkong to 2017,this paper has carried out a detailed discussion on the transformation and transformation of Hongkong gangster films after Hongkong's return.This dissertation is divided into five chapters:the initial chapter first collates and analyzes the overall development of Hongkong gangster films in the twenty years after Hongkong's return;then,from the point of view of the characteristics of the plot,the second chapter focuses on the adjustment of narrative structure and role relationship in Hongkong gangster films after the transfer of sovereignty;the following chapter mainly explores the transformation of social marginalized and undercover images in Hongkong gangster films after the return of Hongkong,which elaborated the characteristics of the characters after its transformation;afterwards,the fourth chapter focuses on the deconstruction of rootless culture and the blending with post modernist culture in Hongkong gangster movies after Hongkong's return;finally,by studying the transformation and development of Hongkong gangster films after Hongkong's return,the fifth chapter explores the crux of its existing problems.Taking the Hongkong gangster films after Hongkong's return as the starting point,on the basis of careful observation of a large number of relevant research texts,through the comprehensive use of film,television and other related art theory,and learn from literature,aesthetics,narratology,literature and art,sociology and other multi-disciplinary theory,this paper makes a more comprehensive and systematic study,which aims to better understand the unique cultural value and artistic connotation of the Hongkong gangster films,and provides a certain reference value for the future development trend and theoretical research.
