Research On Chinese Supervision System's Changes From The Perspective Of Historical Institutionalism

Chinese central government has been fighting against corruption since the 18th national congress of the communist party of China.And it comes to the Party and the Government that only punishment is not enough and a long-term anti-corruption mechanism is necessary.As a significant part of China's political system,the supervision system plays an important role in Ruling the country by law and modernizing the governing system and capabilities.After several changes,supervisory system,supervisory system in China was reformed in 2016 and reorganized in 2018.The establishment of the independent supervisory committee,which is a centralized and unified anti-corruption agency,is a major development of Chinese supervisory system.Reflecting the process and analyzing the internal logic of all these changes really make sense.Historical institutionalism regards the middle system as its focus,reveals the internal logic of origination and evolution in supervisory system and builds a proper framework to figure out how the Chinese supervisory system changed.Its conception of structure emphasizes the importance of macro system background and political variables in political activities.The conception of history says that system changes follows the path dependence and there are some key points,also behavior choice is important for direction.And,historical institutionalism reveals interaction between system and behavior lead to the changes.The contents of this thesis are as follows:First,introduce research background,research significance,research review,framework,contents,research methods,innovations and deficiencies.Second,introduce the theory of historical institutionalism,including the basic viewpoints,theoretical analytical framework and the applicability.Third,review the brief history of Chinese supervision system since its establishment;simply summarize the historical events and policy texts.Forth,analyze the influence of macro institutional structure,benefits and conception on the change of the Chinese Supervision System.Fifth,analyze the Chinese Supervision System changes in historical conception.Firstly,recognize the key point.Secondly,analyze the influence of key points.Thirdly,recognize the performance of path dependence of the Supervision System.Finally,analyze what factors cause the path dependence.Sixth,conclude how the system changes in the interaction between system and behavior.Seventh,summary and prospects.Summarize and propose some optimization strategies in the end.
