A Study On The Li Dazhao Cultural Thoughts

Li Dazhao is the leader of the New Culture Movement,one of the founders of the Communist Party of China,and a pioneer of the modern cultural movement.He has spent his entire life trying to find the right path for the new China.His ideological system is rich and rigorous.He has studied in philosophy,history,military science,literature,aesthetics,pedagogy,and economics,as well as socialist ideas and democratic thoughts.In his rich cultural legacy,cultural thought occupies an important position.This thesis elaborates its cultural thought and discusses it from the background,content and characteristics of Li Dazhao’s cultural thoughts,and its implications for today’s society.In addition to the introduction part,this paper is divided into five parts.The first part of the text elaborates the background and development of Li Dazhao’s cultural thoughts.It discusses the background of Li Dazhao’s cultural thoughts from its historical background,theoretical origins,and subjective backgrounds.It expounds development context of his culture thought from its sprouting and forming periods,its development,and its maturity.The second part elaborates the contents and characteristics of Li Dazhao’s cultural thoughts in different periods,including the Chinese and Western cultures during the first Sino-Western cultural debate,Li Dazhao’s theory of cultural harmony during the second Sino-Western cultural debate and Li Dazhao’s third civilization during the third Sino-Western cultural debate.It also summarizes the characteristics of its cultural ideology,specifically characterized by the unity of criticality and inheritance,the unity of inclusiveness and openness,and the unity of the times and innovation.The third part evaluates Li Dazhao’s thought.The thesis analyzes from two aspects.On the one hand,the positive influence of Li Dazhao’s cultural thoughts plays an important part:First,Li Dazhao’s cultural thought provides the ideological weapon for the New Cultural Movement;second,Li Dazhao’s cultural thought promotes the spread of Marxism in China;Third,Li Dazhao’s culture Thought promoted the formation of Mao Zedong’s early cultural viewpoints.On the other hand,this thesis analyzes the limitation of his cultural thoughts:First,Li Dazhao has certain limitations on the definition and description of the types of Chinese and Western cultures;Second,Li Dazhao’s ideas on cultural harmony have certain defects.In the end,the practical significance and inspiration of Li Dazhao’s cultural thoughts are expounded.It will provide the basis for promoting cultural self-confidence and establishing the concept of harmony,further promoting the development and prosperity of socialist culture,providing guidance for the construction of a harmonious socialist society,and providing directions for the construction of a new era of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.Practical significance.From the point of advancing Marxism in China to modernization and popularization,we must firmly adhere to the Marxist beliefs,"double create" traditional culture,carry forward the revolutionary culture,strengthen the socialist advanced culture and establish the concept of harmony;build a harmonious culture,and strengthen the path of Chinese characteristics and cultural self-confidence.The following aspects elaborated Li Dazhao’s cultural thoughts and their practical implications.
