Research On The Creation Of The Kirgiz Epic Animation "Manas"

The Chinese nation,composed of diverse ethnic groups,has a splendid national culture.These rich ethnic cultures provide valuable resources for the creation of animation.Through analyzing the status quo of domestic animation,the creative purpose and significance of ethnic theme animations,and the creative advantages of Kirgiz’s hero epic “Manas”animation,this article completes the creation practice of “Manas” animation,and finally draws an animation of the national theme.Thanks to the country’s strong support and the continuous efforts of animation practitioners,domestic animation has grown rapidly,creating a group of works that are deeply loved by children.At the same time,the proportion of adult movie box office continues to increase.However,due to excessive imitation of foreign animation and blind pursuit of technological progress,domestic animation once encountered the bottleneck of lack of creativity,piracy and other aspects.Recalling the development characteristics of domestic animation from the 1920 s to the mid-1980 s,it is not difficult to find that both the story and the character model have strong national traditional cultural elements.Therefore,national themes and national styles are important magic weapons for domestic animation to break through the bottleneck to the world.At the same time,in view of the problem of single epic,such as "Manas",this article chooses to present the epic "Manas" in the form of three-dimensional animation.The creation uses three-dimensional production techniques and the three-dimensional Maya software to achieve the integration of ethnic culture and animation arts,and to produce an animation short of Manas.The production process includes the adaptation of the epic story into the animated script using the narrative technique of interjection;the relationship between the characters in the script design;the use of character costumes,the pattern ornament in the scene layout,and the color concept to reflect the nationality;the three-dimensional reproduction of the life scene of the Kirgiz tribe;and the use of dubbing clips to achieve the perfect combination of visual and auditory.Through the combination of theoretical analysis and creative practice,Could found that in the process of creation of national themes and animations,it is necessary to p ay attention to the selection of ethnic materials and to grasp principles and techniques in the adaptation of animation scripts.From the content point of view,we can select myths and legends,folk stories,real events,religious beliefs,etc.as the creative mat erial for the animated screenplay.At the same time,we must pay attention to the pri nciple of combining the authenticity and interest of the animation script in the adaptation process,and using appropriate artistic techniques to allow artistic adaptation based on authenticity and interest.In addition,in order to fully convey the national cultural connotation in the animated works of national themes,it is necessary to rely on the two specific art forms of sight and hearing.Specifically,the visual forms mainly include clothing,colors,architecture,patterns,and appliances.The forms of hearing mainly include music,character sounds and sounds of the same period.
