In 1937,the "Battle of Shanghai" broke out and the Japanese army entered Shanghai. The war brought a huge disaster to Shanghai.Shanghai became a hell on earth. Some war refugees sought refuge in the concession and the concession became an "The period of the island of Shanghai." Shanghai's filmmakers, represented by SK.Zhang, began trying to recover films in "The period of the island of Shanghai" in order to survive. While achieving certain achievements and earning economic benefits, the content of the film itself has caused controversy.Despite the anti-Japanese films represented by "Mulan Combat," the filmmakers have always faced the incomprehensibility of the rear, and have assumed the dedication of becoming "traitors."With the outbreak of the Pacific War,Japan further controls Shanghai.Shanghai filmmakers have to cooperate with Japan's representative Kawasaki. As a Japanese person who has deep feelings for China,Kawasaki has always done his best. With the profound accumulation of the Shanghai film itself,he has created a more relaxed environment for Shanghai filmmakers. When the war was won,the Chongqing National Government looted the film people for the acceptance of Shanghai, and the fate of the filmmakers fell into a trough.Shanghai film people have always faced political pressure from both sides of the war.For various reasons, the people who stayed in Shanghai tried to survive on both sides of the rolling wall. They were able to save the Shanghai film industry and develop Shanghai movies under the oppression of the Japanese invaders. In the end, however, under the ignorance and plunder of the Chongqing National Government, the originally obscure anti-Japanese behavior was completely wiped out and became a victim of victory.
