Plato On Eros

Plato is one of the greatest philosophers and thinkers in the West.Plato's thought has lasted for thousands of years and has enduring vitality.In addition,in Plato,Eros has become an important concept in philosophy for the first time,by the detailed analysis in the "Symposium","Phaedrus" and "Phaedo" and other classics.In "Symposium" and "Phaedrus",It was emphasized in the Eros essence,seeing the love and climbing the ladder of the beautiful itself,and in " Phaedo " it was emphasized the knowledge that is most sensitive to the philosopher's nature and soul forever.In these works,Plato warns that only philosophers' Eros object,is that the general desire object for forever;the highest good is the pursuit of immortality,for philosophy it is the highest love.At the same time,through exploring the mystery of Platonic love,it reveals the essential features of Plato's love in philosophy,and then to the philosophers' life and philosophical insight into the meaning of life,to think about how to have a "good" for philosophers,and how to live this real and good life,and strive to the profound connotation of Plato's thought to restore more genuine love out.In order to solve the perplexity of "Eros" of modern people,to better realize the understanding of Platonic love philosophy,I want to make some contribution on this way.
