Chen Shengmou's Study Of Lacquer Art

Chen Shengmou was a major contributor and leader of Jiangxi lacquer painting.His exploration of lacquer painting language became a banner of Chinese lacquer art.Chen Shengmou led Chinese lacquer painting from craftsmanship to painting,and promoted lacquer painting into independent painting.The ranks of the great art also laid the foundation for his position in the history of lacquer painting.This article discusses and studies Chen Shengmou's lacquer paintings from the following aspects: First,from the historical point of view,combing the development history of Chinese ancient lacquer art and Chinese modern lacquer painting and the development veins of Jiangxi lacquer painting;Second,from the lacquer painting by Chen Shengmou The three periods of art(exploration period,development period,maturity period)analyze the development process of its lacquer painting art;thirdly,it explores the style characteristics of lacquer painting creation by Chen Shengmou from the three levels of materials,lacquer painting language and artistic connotation.The research on lacquer painting art of Chen Shengmou has the academic value of local art history and lacquer painting art,and has certain practical significance for the future development of lacquer painting art.
