Xian Xia Drama Development Research In Mainland China

The Chinese mainland Xian Xia drama(hereafter referred to as Xian Xia drama)has been highly praised by the audience since 2005.Moreover,the new type of play has attracted the attention and discussion of film and television scholars because of the screen popularity of The Journey of Flower and Ten Great III of Peach Blossom.The driving effect of fan economy and the multichannel broadcasting mode of Internet provide the necessary conditions for the development of Xian Xia Drama,which has occupied an important share of the current film and TV show market with the speed of springing up.In view of this,for the sake of the future benign development of Xian Xia Drama,the systematic research and combing of this type of drama from the perspective of holistic development has become more and more important and urgent.This paper first sorts out the concept,development course and development background of the Xian Xia Drama in the mainland.Secondly,combining the representative works of Xian Xia drama,the narrative features of it are explained from the perspectives of narrative mode,style and theme.Then through the communication environment,the subject,the audience and the effect of four factors,more in-depth analysis of the communication characteristics of Xian Xia drama.Finally,it analyzes the phenomenon of Xian Xia Drama and the opportunities and challenges it faces in its development,and starts from five angles: the selection of high-quality stories,the specialization of screenwriters,the use of big data,the innovation of content and the expansion of overseas markets.In order to provide effective theoretical support and text reference for the development of Xian Xia Drama in the future,this paper puts forward specialized countermeasures.This paper aims to systematize and comprehensively study the modern Chinese Fairies in the mainland based on the related theories such as IP play adaptation,filmand TV drama dissemination and TV drama narratology.
