The Tianping Army was established in the last years of Tang Xianzong.Since it was established on the basis of the pacification of Ziqing Town, this has given it a certain degree of particularity.By sorting out the history of the development of the Tianping Army,we can see from this that the evolution of the general trend of history and the transition of the times projected on the historical development of the Tianping Army. This article comprehensively discusses the history of the Tianping Army in the Tang Dynasty. It dates back to the birth of the Tianping Army and fell under the demise of the Tang Dynasty. At the same time,it also involves multiple horizontal surfaces of the history of the Tianping Army. The text is mainly composed of the following parts:The first chapter mainly deals with the jurisdiction of the Tianping Army and the content of domestic economic development. The history of the Tianping Army’s jurisdiction has undergone many changes in history, and its domestic economy is also quite developed. The second chapter mainly discusses Liu Wu’s tragic events and the establishment of the Tianping Army.Liu Wu ’ s tragic events has obvious specificity in the historical development of the town of Ziqing. This particularity was caused by a special objective situation at that time, and this particularity affected,to a certain extent, the development of the original Ziqing town area, including the Tianping Army. The one-and-a-half division of the original Ziqing town is a reflection of this influence. The third chapter mainly discusses the relationship between the Tianping Army and the Tang Dynasty Central Committee. This chapter mainly analyzes the relations between the Tianping Army and the Tang Dynasty Central Committee from three aspects: political, economic, and military. The Central Government of the Tang Dynasty used force to set up the Ziqing Town.It achieved a solid control of the Tianping Army from the beginning. The implementation of the two tax laws in the economy also weakened the local economic strength. In the military, the Tianping Army also included the rule system of the Tang Dynasty and played a role in maintaining the rule of the Tang Dynasty. But the Huangchao uprising in the late Tang finally broke this relationship. The fourth chapter mainly discusses the causes of the Huangchao Uprising and the history of the Tianping Army in the late Tang Dynasty. The reason why the Huangchao Uprising took place in the Shandong area was related to the natural disasters in the area, the effects of Pang Xun’s party, and the identity of salt merchants in Huang Chao.At the end of the Tang Dynasty, the local towns were moving toward independence, and the Tianping Army was no exception. The Tianping Army was eventually brought together by the rising Zhu Wen.
