As a starting point,Xiao Hong's life experience makes an in-depth analysis of the female body writing in her novels. The first thing to focus on is Xiao Hong's own experience. In her 31-year brief life,Xiao Hong suffered various hardships. She had fallen apart both physically and mentally. Her depressing life experience such as the grief of bereavement, the pain of giving birth to babies, and the suffering of losing her child, all of which were the sources of creating the novel and become important contents of self-creation in Xiao Hong's novel.Secondly,it has been found that there were quite a few depictions of female bodies from the male perspective in Xiao Hong's novel. This paper compares the description of female body within and outside the sight of the male characters and further analyzes the female genital mutilation under the traditional patriarchy and the male-dominated system in Xiao Hong's eyes. Then this paper also explores the conflicts between women and the women depicted in Xiao Hong's novels through text interpretation,on the basis of which, the conditions for causing the conflicts between women are explored, and the darkness and coldness in female characters and the main culprit of the conflict between women-the inferior status of women under the rule of men-are also illustrated. In addition, this paper analyses the “hometown” complex that both exists in Lu Xun's and Xiao Hong's novels, and discusses the body writing of the two writers based on their hometown to build a spiritual homeland to realize the return of their soul.At the same time, the body writing of the two are distinguished and compared from the perspective of different gender positions so as to seek the unique meaning of the body writing of the female in Xiao Hong's novels. The deep meaning of the expression and pursuit of female body writing in Xiao Hong's novels lies in the awakening, independence and resistance of the female are not limited to subverting the male power/patriarchy.The first step women should take is to express themselves.Xiao Hong, through the depiction and portrayal of the female body, the private confession of women, and the secret desire of women, strongly reflected the uniqueness of women and the position and value of women in society.Although Xiao Hong tried to display poverty, hardship, and social systems that afflicted and distorted the female body in the novel, women's appeal was not subverting the daily life that was built on them.Instead, she constructed the voice of female through body writing to seek solutions to survival and life difficulties for women and the mankind. The body that Xiao Hong attempted to create is not one-dimensional or gender representative, but the expres-sion of the state of living and the predicament of the mankind;the writing of the female body is the demonstration of women's unrestricted spiritual freedom based on feminine consciousness and intuition;Xiao Hong did not really turn a deaf ear when regarding politics, culture, and economy.Instead, she depicted the “individual” and the “mankind” from a perspective that was much subtler, humbler, and closer to the people at the bottom of the society.
