For Shi Zhecun,Songjiang not only gives him endless source of creation, but also is his very important soul residence.Looking at the creative process of Shi Zhecun's novels,we can see that his early novels focus on the south villages.Even if later turned to the metropolis theme novels and psychological analysis novels, the local terroir forces still play an important role.So that in his novels, mainlander's consciousness has always been used. Therefore, the thesis uses the clues of Shi Zhecun's creative process, uses textual close reading, comparative study, historical study, and psychology to probe and analyze the mainlander's consciousness in Shi Zhecun's novels. It is divided into four parts. The first chapter begins with the history and culture of Songjiang, the historical relationship between Shanghai and Songjiang, and Shi Zhecun's life experiences, and analyzes Shi Zhecun's own mainlander's consciousness.Based on the history and culture of Songjiang and personal experiences of Shi Zhecun, the relationship between Shi Zhecun's own emotional experience and the mainlander's consciousness in his novels was explored. The second chapter begins with Shi Zhecun's novels with villages theme and focuses on the Jiang Gan Set and Lantern, and analyzes the social conditions in rural areas in other provinces and the ideological changes of the mainlander after entering Shanghai. The third chapter begins with Shi Zhecun's novels with metropolis theme, and focuses on the novels The Rainy Night and The Behavior of Good Woman to explore the the living predicament and the spiritual predicament of mainlanders after they reach the metropolis. The fourth chapter begins with Shi Zhecun's last collection of novels,Xiao Zhen Set,and analyzes the barrenness of the mainland and the destruction of the home dreams of the mainlanders.Research shows that from the early novels Jiang Gan Set and Lantern to the mid-term novels,The Rainy Night and The Behavior of Good Woman,to the Xiao Zhen Set,Shi Zhecun never stopped reviewing the relationship of the metropolis and the villages, and never stopped thinking about the modern people who shuttled between the metropolis and the villages,so that his novels always run through mainlander's consciousness. In connection with Shi Zhecun's life experiences,it can be found that the mainlander's consciousness in the novels of Shi Zhecun has a close connection with Shi Zhecun own mainlander's consciousness.
