Research On The Relationship Among High School Students' Life Events,Coping Styles And Sense Of Security

The sense of security is of vital importance to the development of a person.Related research shows that there is a significant correlation between life events and sense of security.For senior high school students,they are in the transitional period of development,have unique development characteristics,are faced with other stages of the pressure and life events,these factors.may have an impact on the sense of security.While coping with many life events,the way they respond is critical.Research shows that the relationship between coping style and sense of security is closely related,and the appropriate coping style also contribute to mental health.This paper investigates the sense of security,life events and coping style of senior high school students from the perspective of security,and focuses on the relationship between the three,and then puts forward the intervention strategy which is conducive to the psychological development of senior high school students.In this research,a total of 353 senior high school students were measured by the SQ,ASLEC and Coping Style Scales-And the results are as follows:(1)Learning stress and interpersonal stress are the major life experiences experienced by high school students.(2)Coping styles high school students often use with the order are to solve the problem,help,fantasy,rationalization,retreat and remorse.Girls use more help-seeking coping style than boys.(3)Security level of the high school students is relatively high.The overall level of security for boys is significantly higher than girls.And in the factors of interpersonal security,boys scored significantly higher than girls.The only child's interpersonal security was significantly higher than non-only children.Students living in urban have a higher sense of personal security than those in rural.(4)Life events and security were significantly negatively correlated.There was a significant positive correlation between life events and fantasy,self-reproach,retreat and rationalized coping styles,and a significant negative correlation between adaptive life events and problem-solving and help-seeking coping styles.Security was significantly positively correlated to problem-solving and help-seeking coping style,and significantly negatively correlated to fantasy,self-blame,retreat and rationalized coping styles.(5)Life events and coping styles significantly predict the level of security.(6)Fantasy,self-blame,retreat and rationalized coping styles play a part in mediating the life events and security.
