Research On Decoration Of Wood Microstructure Patterns

As a part of wood science the study of wood microstructure was usually focused on wood defect detection,wood structure analysis and so on,and there are few studies on wood microstructure patterns.Wood microstructural patterns can be obtained by wood anatomy.The MATLAB2017b image processing software is used to transform the wood microstructure pattern from color pattern to gray pattern.In this paper,the gray patterns were the original patterns.This paper mainly includes three parts:the original patterns of wood microstructure,the microstructural deformation pattern of wood,and the application of wood microstructure and wood microstructure after deformation.The research on the original pattern of wood microstructure is based on the grayscale patterns of wood microstructure,and the single and combination patterns of wood microstructure were studied by using graph analysis and data statistics.The values of patterns were calculated by AutoCAD software,and the ratios of the patterns were in accordance with the mathematical rules.The structure of the single pattern is clear,the composition of the combination pattern is varied,and they were in rhythm,equilibrium and stability.So the original patterns of wood microstructure are ornamental.The research on the deformation of wood microstructure pattern included the deformation of the single patterns and the combination patterns.By using the Photoshop CS6 to remove the interference factors of the patterns,then the Ultra Fractal 5.04 software was used to deform the wood microstructure patterns.After several experiments,the three forms of deformation which conform to the aesthetic principle were selected.The spiral pattern,rhombus pattern and Ruyi pattern showed that the deformation patterns retained the original patterns to a large extent after distorting and reorganizing the original patterns,and the deformation patterns were more abundant than the original patterns,and received very good effects in decoration.The application of the original wood microstructure and wood microstructural pattern deformation patterns in wood microstructural patterns were studied by Auto CAD,Photoshop CS6 and Ultra Fractal 5.04 software.By designing and arranging the patterns were applied to the wallpaper and carpet,they were repeatable and regular.Finally,these patterns showed rhythm,and got great decorative effect.In addition to this,the patterns after the deformation of wood microstructure were more various,simple to design,and they could be used in more field.The research could provides more ideas for the study of wood microstructure.
