Andrew Wyeth,a famous American painter of "home realism" and one of the most successfful painters of his time, has painted a great deal of touching works of art throughout his life in a very small area of life.Wyeth's vivid realistic coat and profound ions of his unique artistic features make his mind always in endless anxiety and melancholy, and his heart is in endless anxiety and melancholy, and his emotions are in urgent need of finding a vent. The open wilderness of Wyeth's hometown is often chosen as a creative theme with various ideological connotations in his paintings. This article revolves around Andrew. The image of wilderness, which appears many times in Wyeth's works, combines its representation and metaphorical meaning to analyze and discuss. The wilderness under Wyeth's brush,as an image, materializes the memory and emotion of his whole perceptual life,in which the artist hesitates with the wilderness as a metaphor and finds a spiritual home in the process of his creation, and his works are endowed with the creative tendency of literary association. At the same time,it also deepens the aesthetic pleasure. All this coincided with the wild image that existed widely in western literature at that time.Through the study of the wildness image in Andrew Wyeth's works,we can infer the value judgment of Wyeth's ar'tistic idea and creation, and can deeply sense the original impulse to return to the wilderness. The wilderness,as the source of human life, has turned into a covert harbor of warm hearts and a secret passage to itself. It is the reboot of self and the fulfillment of destiny. In the end, life has changed qualitatively, whether it is barren or new.Our vision followed Wyeth's pursuit of wilderness beauty and the search for the ultimate habitat of the soul. The paper is divided into four chapters to analyze and explain the wilderness image in Andrew Wise's painting art.The first chapter discusses the wild phenomenon in Wise's works and explains the definition of wilderness,a unique connotation of imagery. In connection with its concept in Western literary tradition,a brief narrative is presented. From the literary approach to aesthetics, the wilderness image leads to the art of painting. This leads to the discussion of the following chapters.Chapter 2 begins with the artist's individual and analyzes the art of Andrew Wise. The background of creation and life growth experience explores the reasons for the formation of wilderness consciousness;Chapter 3 selects works from Andrew Wyse's paintings in a case-by-case manner, juxtaposing techniques, composition, light colors, and wilderness windows and doors. The effect brought by the picture is to discuss the wild language expression in Wise's paintings. In the end,the fourth chapter analyzes the spiritual level symbolic significance of the wild image in Wise's paintings and triggers the derivative thinking about the wilderness. At the end of the article, the idea of returning to the wilderness appeals to modern humans to re-examine themselves and find values and spiritual homes.
