Certain problem behaviors in childhood, especially typical explicit problem behaviors and implicit problem behaviors, have certain stability, and can predict some problems that appear later in the process, such as peer rejection during the adolescence, behavioral problems,anti-social behavior, depression, anxiety, etc.Children's problem behaviors will affect their social functions in peer and school environments and hinder the development of emotions, cognition, and social skills.Environmental factors from the family have the most important influence on early childhood problem behaviors.Baumrind distinguished three different parenting styles(autocratic, authoritative, and permissive)based on two dimensions of parental warmth and parental control. This classification method is applied to related research in the context of Chinese culture. In the influence of parental rearing style on children's problem behavior,a large number of studies have shown that parent-child attachment is a key factor.Different parenting styles will affect the level of parent-child attachment, while high parental attachment levels will reduce children's implicit and explicit problems. However, the effects of parent-child attachment are not constant under any circumstances. There is a regulatory variable between parent-child attachment and its outcome. From the perspective of family ecosystem theory, the common parenting of grandparents is in the microscopic system,so it has an important influence on the physical and mental health development of young children, and it may affect the mediating role of parent-child attachment. Therefore, this study examines the mediating role of parental attachment in the influence of parental parenting on children's problem behaviors, and further examines whether the mediating effect is mediated by ancestral grandparents.Questionnaires were used to investigate 436 children in 6 kindergartens in a county in Henan Province.Data were analyzed using SPSS PROCESS.The results show that:(1)authoritative parenting is significantly positively related to parent-child attachment, and is significantly negatively related to children's implicit and explicit problem behavior;parent-child attachment is negatively correlated with implicit and explicit question behaviors;autocratic, permissive parenting, and parenthood Attachment was significantly negatively correlated and was significantly positively correlated with children's implicit and explicit issues.(2)Authoritative parenting has no direct forecasting effect on children's problem behaviors, but it can negatively predict children's implicit and explicit problem behaviors through the intermediary role of parent-child attachment;(3)Autocracy and permissive parenting can not only directly predict children's implicitness And explicit question behaviors can also be influenced by the mediating effects of parent-child attachment;(4)The mediating effect of parent-child attachment is mediated by the ancestors' common parenting, and the indirect effects are shared by the ancestors together with the individuals whose ancestors have low levels of common parenting. It is more pronounced in individuals with higher levels. The results of the study will help to reveal the influence of parental rearing patterns on children's problem behaviors and their mechanisms of action. This will have implications for family education and the healthy development of children.
