The Phonological Study Of Qixian's Dialect

Qixian is located in Kaifeng,Henan Province.According to the Language Atlas of China,Qixian is located among Zhengkai subgroup?Luoxu subgroup and Cailu subgroup.The internal diversity of Qixian's dialect is very significantly.So,the study of Qixian's dialect is very important to the research of the dialectal connect?dialect geography and so on.In this paper,we described the phonetic system of Qixian deeply,divided Qixian in 3 district on the basis of the analysis of the phonetic system,and compared the phonetic system of these 3 district with Guangyun.Meanwhile,we analyzed the specific phonetics changes like the nowadays pronunciations of the initials Feifufeng of Guangyun from perspective of synchronic and diachronic.At the same time,the evolution of some phonemes in Qixian's dialect has its own characteristics,which is worthy of further study.In the process of analysis,we discovered some distinctive phonetic evolution phenomena in Qixian's dialect.We talked about these distinctive phonetic evolution phenomena from three angles: initials,finals and tones.In initials,there are internal geographical differences in today's reading of Fifufeng,at the same time,this can also palatine into [?];Today's reading of Zhixi shows group differences due to ethnic differences.About finals,the today's reading of the entering tone words of Dang She,Jiang She,Zeng She,Geng She is [yo],which is not in harmony with any other rhyme.Today's reading of Xie She is [iai],the beginning and the end of the rhyme are the same.Today's reading of Zeng She and Geng She are [?],which was in harmony with Jia She.This feature of Qixian's dialect has nothing in commom with Central Plains Mandarin.In tone,different tones indicate different meanings.Generally,the tone is read from the original tone to Falling tone,and the part of speech is changed from the original part of speech to the verb.In view of the above special phonetic evolution phenomenon,this paper makes a comparative study from the perspectives of synchronic and diachronic.Simultaneously,it was controversial that which subgroup Qixian belonged to,so we give a new definition of this on the basis of the analysis of the phonetic system.Finally,we presented a new research aspect for the remaining problemes of Qixian dialect's research.
