A Study Of The Comparative Between The Jilin Manchu And Taiwan Bunun Aboriginal Ethnic Group

This paper mainly focuses on the comparative study of music of the Jilin Manchu and Taiwan Bunun aboriginal ethnic group.C hina is a multi-ethnic country,each of which has its own unique national culture,and a variety of music forms.I am lucky to go to Tunghai university in Taiwan during the master period,Sol I can explore the music of the Bunun's artistic features closely.Through review and study in various aspects,I found that the Bunun's ritual music and Jilin Manchu Shaman music exist similarities and differences.Because the essence of national art must be based on national research,I consult a large amount of related information in Taiwan,and decided to write this essay.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part: an overview of the production of jilin manchu and Taiwan Bunun ritual music.This part analyze mainly from the aspects of ethnology and history,in view of the jilin manchu and Taiwan history,the geographical distribution,lifestyle,religion and sacrificial ceremony,in order to lead to the music of the cult for otherness study later.The second part: the compariSoln between the jilin manchu and the Taiwan Bunun in music of sacrificial ceremony.This part makes the representative music of cults in jilin manchu and Taiwan Bunun for example,does Solme comparative analysis from the singing form,musical instruments and music characteristics.Then the differences in the tone columns,the differences in the rhythm and the harmonics are analyzed,too.The third part;CompariSoln of musical function between jilin manchu and Taiwan bunong.This part is established in the perspective of musicology or ethnology,compares the music function between the J ilin Mancun and the Taiwan Bunun,and summarizes the similarities and differences from its religious function,symbolic function,aesthetic function and etc.The fourth part: the inheritance crisis and protection measures of music in the Jilin Manchu and the Taiwan Bunong,which is used in the sacrificial ceremony..Through the inheritance o f the two nationalities and the analysis of the inheritance crisis,I explore the protection measures of music in the present.At last,I arrange the contents and summarize this article.
